Choose your account type
When you first sign in to SecurAtlas, you are asked to select a mode before anything else. The two options are:- Solo — you are setting up a single organization. Everything in SecurAtlas — your risk score, controls, evidence, and reports — belongs to that one organization.
- MSP — you are a managed service provider. You get a partner portal where you create and manage separate client tenants, each with its own isolated dashboard and posture score.
- Solo organization
- MSP / Partner
Use this path if you are setting up SecurAtlas for your own organization.
Create your account
Sign up at the SecurAtlas registration page using your work email. Verify your email address, then sign in. You land on the onboarding flow automatically.
Select Solo
On the mode selection screen, choose Solo. This creates a single-tenant workspace tied to your organization.
Fill in your organization profile
Provide details about your organization. SecurAtlas uses this information to calibrate financial exposure estimates and benchmark your posture:
- Organization name — the legal or trading name of your organization.
- Industry — your primary sector (for example, Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology).
- Employee range — the approximate headcount band (for example, 51–200).
- Annual revenue range — your revenue band, used in Annualized Loss Expectancy (ALE) calculations.
- Cloud provider — your primary cloud environment (for example, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or none).
Run the baseline security assessment
The baseline assessment evaluates your current security posture across SecurAtlas’s unified library of 64 controls. Work through each control and indicate whether it is fully implemented, partially implemented, or not yet in place. When you submit the assessment, SecurAtlas generates your first risk score — a number from 0 to 100 where higher scores reflect a stronger posture. Controls are weighted by severity (1–5), and severity-5 controls are required for the highest score bands. You do not need to complete the assessment in a single session. SecurAtlas saves your progress automatically.
Select your compliance frameworks
Choose the frameworks your organization needs to comply with. SecurAtlas maps every framework to the same 64 controls, so your baseline answers immediately populate readiness percentages for each framework you select.Available frameworks include ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type I/II, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and others. You can add or remove frameworks at any time from Settings → Compliance frameworks. After selecting frameworks, SecurAtlas redirects you to your dashboard.
