The SecurAtlas dashboard is your real-time view of your organization’s security posture. Every time you open it, the four KPI cards and the supporting widgets reflect the current state of your controls, evidence, and compliance frameworks — no manual refresh needed.

The getting-started checklist

When you first create your workspace, the dashboard shows a three-step setup checklist instead of the full view. These steps must be completed before your risk score and financial exposure model can be calculated.
1

Organization profile

Your organization profile is created automatically when you sign up. Verify your industry, revenue range, and employee count in Settings so the financial model is calibrated correctly.
2

Baseline security assessment

Navigate to Setup → Baseline and complete the assessment questionnaire. This seeds your unified control library and generates your first risk score.
3

Select compliance frameworks

Go to Setup → Frameworks and select the standards you need to comply with — ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, and others. SecurAtlas maps your existing controls to each framework automatically.
Once all three steps are complete, the full dashboard activates.

Evidence expiry banner

If any of your evidence items are due to expire within the next 30 days, an orange warning banner appears at the top of the dashboard. It lists each expiring item by name and shows the number of days remaining (or “expired” if the deadline has already passed).
Expired evidence stops contributing to your compliance scores immediately. Replace or renew it before the expiry date to avoid a drop in your readiness percentages.
Click Review on the banner to jump directly to your Evidence page, filtered to show expiring and expired items.

KPI cards

The four cards at the top of the dashboard each show a single headline metric. Clicking any card takes you to the relevant section for a deeper view.

Risk Score

Your overall posture score from 0 to 100. Green indicates low risk (61–100), amber is medium (41–60), and red is critical (0–40). Click to open the Risk Analysis page.

Annual Exposure

The expected Annualized Loss Expectancy (ALE) in dollars — your most probable annual financial loss from a cyber incident. Click to open the Financial Exposure page.

Controls

Shows implemented + in-progress controls out of the total in your library (for example, 18/64). Click to open the Controls page.

Avg Readiness

The average readiness percentage across all compliance frameworks you’re tracking. Click to open the Frameworks page.

Dashboard widgets

Below the KPI row, the dashboard displays several widgets depending on your data.

Framework readiness

A list of progress bars — one per framework — showing each framework’s readiness percentage. The color moves from red (below 40%) through amber to green (70% and above). Click Details to go to the full Compliance page. If you haven’t selected any frameworks yet, the widget shows a prompt to add them.

Financial exposure

When financial data is available, a summary shows your Low, Expected, and High ALE estimates side by side. This is a compact version of the full model — click Full model to see the detailed breakdown.

Policy posture

Shows your policy health score out of 100, alongside counts for active policies, policies overdue for review, policies expiring soon, and active policies missing evidence. Click View Policies to manage them.

Quick actions

Four shortcut tiles for the most common tasks:
ActionDestination
Review ControlsControls page
Upload EvidenceEvidence page
Risk AnalysisRisk page
Open TasksTasks page
Each tile also shows a contextual count — such as the number of not-started controls or missing evidence items.

Needs attention

When you have open tasks, a section lists:
  • Controls not yet started, with a count and a link to filter the Controls page
  • Controls missing evidence, showing the control keys of the first few gaps
The “Needs attention” section is the fastest way to find your most impactful next actions. Addressing these items directly improves your risk score.

Integration coverage

If you have connected integrations (such as AWS, Microsoft 365, or CrowdStrike), an Integration Coverage widget appears showing how many controls have been partially covered by automated findings and how many open findings remain.

Regulatory feed

A live feed of relevant regulatory and compliance news, filtered to your industry and selected frameworks.
